Why We Lead With Homeschool
Homeschooling gives kids a great education. We give them a community.
Over three decades of work with kids taught us the same lesson every time: academics were never the hard part. Belonging, friendship, mentors and new experiences are. Homeschool families are the fastest-growing group asking for exactly that — so that's where we're building: a weekly co-op in Wise County, near-weekly field trips across Dallas–Fort Worth, and a wider village of adults who know their kids by name.

Where This Came From
Two people. 33 years. A whole lot of kids.
Jeff and Paula started with kids — and learned quickly that caring for kids means caring for families. Communities changed. Education changed. Families changed. Today more and more North Texas parents are teaching at home, and they're asking for the very thing we've spent three decades building: community. That's why Afterschool America now leads with homeschool, starting in Wise County. We believe every child was created with value and purpose — that conviction is why the door is open to every family.
